WORDS OF WISDOM
Blessings Dearly Beloved of God! I greet you in the name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I would like to share a very important word with you today concerning Spiritual Depletion! Some may ask what is Spiritual Depletion. The Human Body is made up of Body Spirit and Soul. We are three part beings well our outward bodies are perishing day by day meaning were getting older with time. 2 Corth. 4:16. But because we have been born again through the redemption of Jesus Christ and have believed in Him and confessed him as Our Lord and Savior John 3:3-7. Our spirits are one with His. We must feed our spirit , quench our thirst and refill our cups. The word Feed in the Greek is (Bosko) which means – proper spiritually nourish by feeding people the Word of God . We must be feed properly the word of God because it nourishes the spirit .... The more you pour out the more you'll need pouring into! This is why we need more Apostolic Leaders /Prophets/Evangelist /Teachers and Pastors to deposit more time in the Word and allowing someone to pour into you and also more time in the Secret Place with God , A Place of Rest and Replenishing! Sense when it's time to take time away with the Lord.. David got Spiritually Depleted and felt distance from God PS. 42:1 He longed for a quenching from God He was dry and He thirst for him ! My former Pastor while grooming us in Ministry always spoke of ministering from a place of Overflow .. Uhumm.. What is a Place of Overflow well it's a place as mentioned in PS 23 And my cup runneth over! This requires constantly drinking from the well of Salvation some don't realize you should just be satisfied with the initial Infilling but rather being Refilled constantly !! As we minister you should empty out your cup with each opportunity given by God to Express His Word and Demonstrate His Power. Afterwards you need filling again, Your spirit is yearning for more.. This is an indication I Must get before the Father and receive my replenishing... Jesus always new when virtue left his body.. This is why He prayed and fasted often and would separate Himself to the Father Matthew 4:2.
Luke 8:45-48 kjv
Ask yourself the question Is Virtue leaving you?
45 And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.
47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.
48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
When Virtue leaves your body you know it! You can feel the after effects from it.. This is another reason we need to understand the Role of an Amour Bearer , because He or She is called to Bear you up in the spirit . This can't be someone without the Infilling of the HolyGhost.. They must be full of the HolyGhost and have a devoted Prayer life.
Jude 20 states Jude 20-21(AMP)
20 But you, beloved, build yourselves up on [the foundation of] your most holy faith [continually progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], pray in the Holy Spirit, 21 and keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously and looking forward to the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ [which will bring you] to eternal life. Some people don't like to pray in the HolyGhost , but the more you pray in the HolyGhost the Spirit of God builds you up and strengthens you the more... It's refreshing , the watering of your spirit is needed constantly . John 7:38-40 (Amp) 38 He who believes in Me [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Me], as the Scripture has said, ‘From his innermost being will flow continually rivers of living water.’ This is why I can't understand how anyone could want to omit the Infilling of His Spirit?.. The word Depletion means-: to use most or all of (something important) : to greatly reduce the amount of (something) verb to empty of a principal substance to lessen markedly in quantity, content, power, or value. Let me pray this prayer Father in the name of Jesus we love you we adore you and lift your name up today! We come asking for forgiveness of our denying your Intimate time because of Busyness and lack of sensitivity to your calling.. Our First Calling is to Sup and Sit and worship you.. Forgive us your Body for causing you to long for our attention.. Forgive us for having you compete with our schedules, agenda's and misuse of your time. Let us grow more aware of your longing for your people in this hour to Worship you.. Not from a place of restraints but from a Free Place Longing for just you and not things..!! Father we draw from your Presence It's Our desire to be with you ! Fill us up again and again and again in Jesus name!!
Love you all in a Jesus name! Apostle Valerie Jackson
Excerpt below from: Prophet Helen Calder
‘I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit…’ Isaiah 44:3
According to scripture, the answer to spiritual dryness is intimacy with God and a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit. Our need is for God Himself.
Let’s face it—circumstances may not change immediately. By continuing to put our spiritual needs on hold, we face the danger of moving from dryness to burnout.
Jesus said, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.” (John 7:37)
We need to do whatever it takes to get into a place where we encounter God. David spoke of this search in the Psalms:
‘As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?’ (Psalm 42:1-2)
1. Giving While Empty or Weary
A sign of spiritual dryness is that we are no longer giving to others out of a sense of fullness. We feel empty or weary—our inner tank is running dry.
Spiritual dryness if left undetected can turn into burnout, if we continue to give out in Christian service whilst not being replenished.
If left untended, spiritual dryness can impact our emotional, mental, and even physical state.
We need more Intimacy with God !
1. Soaking Worship Fosters Intimacy with God
Taking time in God’s Presence to love, worship and appreciate Him as well as to receive from Him helps develop our intimate relationship with Him.
We open our heart’s door and welcome Jesus in to commune with us. (Rev 3:20)
We catch a revelation of the Father’s heart, His grace and His love. In the light of His grace and favour, we can open up the innermost places of our soul, where we have been hurt and damaged—and in that space, the experience of His love can heal us.
2. Soaking Worship Facilitates Encounter
Soaking worship encourages individuals to have a personal encounter with God. We set aside intentional time to worship and meet with Jesus.
3. Soaking Worship Allows the Prophetic Ministry of the Spirit to Flow
Soaking worship times encourage us to hear from God for ourselves as we open our hearts to Him. As we position in His Presence, our Father births His dreams in our lives and speaks of what is on His heart.
4. Soaking Worship Provides Replenishment
During times of soaking worship, we receive an impartation of the Holy Spirit into our hearts and lives. We intentionally surrender and yield all of our hearts and lives to Him—and what we present to Him, He takes and fills.
Soaking worship also has natural benefits. As we physically and mentally relax in God’s Presence it helps relieve us from stress, pressure and anxiety.
